Calculator Inputs

Measurements, depth, bag size, price and other values entered into the calculators are processed in your browser to display a result. The cost calculator can also generate a plain-text supplier quote brief in the browser. Copying that brief uses your device's clipboard only; TopsoilCalc does not automatically send it to a supplier. TopsoilCalc does not currently provide accounts, cloud project storage or a database that saves those calculator inputs.

Technical Data Processed by Hosting

The site is hosted by Vercel. Like other web hosts and content delivery networks, Vercel may process request information needed to deliver and secure the site, such as an IP address, request time, requested URL, browser or device information and security events. This technical processing is separate from the values entered into a calculator.

Analytics, Cookies and Advertising

TopsoilCalc uses Vercel Web Analytics to measure aggregate page views and understand which pages, referrers, countries, devices and browsers are being used. Vercel states that Web Analytics does not use cookies or collect personal identifiers, and that its temporary visitor-session hash is discarded after 24 hours. Calculator measurements and price inputs are not sent as analytics properties.

TopsoilCalc does not currently load Google Analytics, Google AdSense, affiliate tracking scripts or advertising cookies. The site does not set its own user account or preference cookies.

If a different analytics provider, display advertising or affiliate tracking is introduced, this policy will be updated to identify the provider, purpose, data involved and available choices before that technology is enabled.

External Links and Embedded Use

Some pages link to third-party sources, suppliers or reference material. A third party applies its own privacy policy after you visit its website. TopsoilCalc does not control those sites.

The free supplier widget performs calculations in the visitor's browser. A supplier website that embeds the widget remains responsible for its own website, privacy notice and any information it collects outside the widget. The supplier quote brief is also generated locally and is not an automatic contact form.

Data Sales and User Profiles

TopsoilCalc does not currently sell personal information, create advertising profiles or offer personalized advertising. Because there are no user accounts, the site does not maintain account histories for access, correction or deletion.

Children's Privacy

The site is a general landscaping planning utility and is not directed to children under 13. It does not knowingly ask children to create accounts or submit personal information.

Policy Changes

Material changes will be published on this page with a new effective date. A dedicated public contact address will be added before TopsoilCalc begins collecting messages or operating advertising and affiliate programs.

Current scope: Vercel Web Analytics is active for aggregate traffic measurement. Display advertising and affiliate services are not active.
