Is the widget really free?

Yes. There is no subscription, account or per-calculation charge. Keep the small attribution link included in the snippet.

Does it collect customer information?

No customer contact form is included. The widget only uses the measurements entered in the browser to calculate an estimate.

Can it calculate mulch or compost?

The cubic-yard volume calculation is also useful for mulch and compost. The weight estimate in the full calculator is specifically based on loose topsoil.

Is the estimate a final order quantity?

No. It is a planning estimate. Material density, compaction, uneven ground and local delivery rules can change the final quantity.
